I am the first to say I fail as a goth for one thing. I adore the colour pink. So when I saw the Swift Lovebird mount being sold by the Love is in the Air vendor was pink, I had to have it.
Problem is, I have restricted play time, so wasn’t sure I could log on every day to do the dailies and get tokens. So the only other choice I had was to farm charms and make charm bracelets.
I hate farming. Hate it with a passion, which is one reason I am always strapped for gold. But where there is a will there is a way, so today I took a bit of advice and went to farm the respawning Slags in the Halls of Lightning. For 4 hours. I would be very happy if I never saw the inside of that place again. I watched an episode of CSI: NY, some My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and part of a very bad tv movie to pass the time, and eventually had farmed enough charms.
So I hearth back to Stormwind and start turning charms into bracelets, then hand them in for tokens and then…. I’m two bracelets short. My maths sucks. I was just about to introduce my head to my desk but then a guildie gave me the last two I needed. <3
So here it is! And NEVER AGAIN.
Congrats on your farming tenacity. I hit up Halls of Lightning and survived for maybe an hour before I started twitching.
